One day Workshops - details and 2009/10 dates...

Workshops will be based around the Dorset coast

Workshops take place on Saturdays, dates available are posted below, we will meet at a chosen location approx 30 minutes before sunrise. This will be a coastal location, where advice will be given in metering, creative use of shutter speeds and apertures, choices of focal length, creative compositions, when and what filters to use.

After the sunrise we will visit a local cafe for breakfast before continuing to another location and more advice given.

After a break for coffee and a snack, we will carry on to our final destination for the day, the sunset shoot, and this will continue to approx 30 minutes after sunset.

All workshops have a maximum of 6 people and will be tailored to your level of experience and skill. The workshops cover basic through to advanced use of digital and film based cameras. Advice will be given in metering, creative use of shutter speeds and apertures, choices of focal length, creative compositions, when and what filters to use.

Workshops start and finish times vary according to the time of year, but typically start at dawn, our favourite time of the day and will often finish with us catching the sun setting in the evening.

Also I am running a 3 day workshop in Cornwall.

Friday 9th - Sunday 11th April

This will be in the area of Lands End (hotel to be confirmed), and will start at 12.00 on Friday and finish late afternoon on Sunday, we will visit some great rugged coastline areas for sunrise and sunset, as well as during the day, and i will show you how to get the best out of your camera. Maximum 5 participants, so lots of individual attention.

Price of the workshop will be £550 to include hotel, bed and breakfast and evening meal.

Deposit will be required at time of booking, £150 payable by cheque or Paypal.
