Mupe Bay is within an Army firing range, that is usually open on Saturdays and Sundays (except for 6 weekends within the year).
Lulworth Cove car park provides the easiest access to Mupe Bay. It is possible to walk from Worbarrow Bay but this is a much more energetic excursion. Do not underestimate the time needed because although Mupe Bay is only about 1.5km east of Lulworth Cove you will not get there quickly. It takes some time to walk round the cove over the pebbles (there is no problem with tide), up the cliff, and then along the track to Mupe Bay.
